01 / Why it exists

Most task apps want your work sorted into projects, boards and priorities before you have written anything down. The list turns into something you maintain, and the notes that explain the work end up in another app.

02 / What it does

What Logbook does

  1. 01

    A log for every day

Entries sit under the day they belong to. Schedule them for today, tomorrow or any date, and move one to another day when plans change.

  2. 02

    Repeat tasks

Daily, weekly, monthly or your own pattern. A task missed three rounds in a row pauses on its own instead of piling up.

  3. 03

    Notes beside the work

A notes panel next to your log, with folders, tables, a slash menu and code blocks. Any note can be shared as a read-only public link.

  4. 04

    Logan, the assistant

Logan reads and manages your logs and notes, plans your day and sets up repeat schedules. Connect your ChatGPT account and choose the model.

  5. 05

    Capture from anywhere

Dictate entries by voice, install Logbook as an app, or add and search tasks from Raycast without opening a window.

  6. 06

    A weekly digest

Each week you get an email that leads with what you logged and what you completed.

Questions

Who is Logbook for?

People who keep a running to-do list and want their notes next to it, without setting up projects, boards or labels first.

Do I need a ChatGPT account?

Only for Logan, the assistant. The log, repeat tasks, notes and weekly digest all work without one.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Logbook runs in any modern mobile browser, and you can install it as an app from the user menu.

Can I sign out of a device I no longer use?

Yes. Settings lists every device you are signed in on, with its browser and sign-in time. You can sign out of any one of them, or all of them at once.
